Forgetting Sarah Marshall ( 2008 )

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is an American romantic comedy movie where Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) who is a music composer for a TV show that features his girlfriend, Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). Sarah breaks their five-year relationship and Peter becomes devastated. For refreshment Peter takes a vacation to Hawaii and become sad again to find Sarah with his new boyfriend Aldous Snow ( Russel Brand ) who is a rock star. A Hawaii Peter meets Rachel Jansen(Mila Kunis). Russel Brand was just hilarious. Overall all its a great comedy movie.


Due Date (2010)
 Peter Highman (Robert Downey, Jr.) is a high strung architect on his way home from Atlanta to Los Angeles to be present at the birth of his first child with his wife, Sarah (Michelle Monaghan). But he was forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) on a road trip in order to make it to his child's birth on time. Its a hilarious comedy movie. You know what Zach Galifianakis is capable to do!



Get Him to the Greek (2010)
 Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) works as a talent scout at Pinnacle Records, a successful record company. Pinnacle Records was performing badly as a result of poor record sales, and the head of the company, Sergio Roma (Sean Combs), asked for some good ideas. Green proposed to hire Aldous Snow(Russel Brand) , a british rock star, to play at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on the tenth anniversary of his legendary performance there in 1999. Sergio sends Aaron to London to escort Aldous to the performance. Aldous Snow recently released an album and a titular single—"African Child", which is a commercial and critical failure. Because of the failure and breakup with his girlfriend Aldous was depressed. Aldous makes the job really hard for Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) to make us laugh out loud. Another great comedy movie ! 




50/50 (2011)
 50/50 is a 2011 dark comedy-drama film inspired by its screenplay writer Will Reiser's own experience with cancer. The comedy centered on Adam Lerner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a 27-year-old guy who learns of his cancer diagnosis and his struggle to beat the disease. Kyle(Seth Rogen) is Adam's best friend and co-worker. Kyle always tries to keep Adam's spirits high including a suggestion that Adam use his illness as a way to pick up women
(LoL! As usual Seth Rogen). Adam meets Katherine McKay (Anna Kendrick) as his therapist, who is young and inexperienced. Watch it !


The Hangover ( 2009 )
 The Hangover is an American comedy movie centered around three groomsmen Phil Wenneck (Bradley Cooper), Stu Price (Ed Helms) and Alan Garner (Zach Galifianakis), who travel to Las Vegas for a bachelor party to celebrate their friend Doug Billings' (Justin Bartha) impending marriage. However, Phil, Stu and Alan lost memory of the previous night's events and must find Doug before the wedding can take place. I guess most of the comedy movie buffs have already watched this movie. But no comedy movie list is full without Hangover. If you have not watched it yet then watch it and have fun.


Knocked up ( 2007)
 Knocked Up is a 2007 American romantic comedy movie. The story starts with a drunken one-night stand between Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) and  Alison Scott ( Katherin Heigl ) which results in an unintended pregnancy. Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) is a career-minded woman who has just been given an on-air role with E!, an American basic cable and satellite television network. On the other hand Ben lives off funds received in compensation for an injury and sporadically works on a celebrity porn website with his roommates. Who could be better than Seth Rogen to play that role. Watch it. Don't miss the fun !



American Pie 
 American Pie (1999) is totally a crazy comedy movie. The movie centered around five boys (Jim, Stifler, Oz, Kevin, and Finch) who attend East Great Falls High. Except Stifler, the friends make a pact to lose their virginity before their high school graduation. American Pie has three sequels: American Pie 2 (2001), American Wedding (2003), and American Reunion (2012)

About a Boy (2002)
 About a Boy is a beautiful comedy movie based on the best-selling novel, About A Boy by Nick Hornby. Its the story of an immature young man Will Freeman (Hugh Grant), who is taught how to act like a grown-up by a little boy Marcus (Nicholas Hoult).


Amelie (2001)
 Amelie is a french romantic comedy movie centered on Amelie (Audrey Tautou), an innocent and naive girl in Paris, with her own sense of justice, decides to help those around her and along the way, discovers love.



Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) 
 Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is a middle-aged man who learns that his wife Emily (Julian Moore) cheated on him with a co-worker, David Lindhagen (Bacon), and wants a divorce. But his life changes as he meets a new friend Jacob Palmer (Gosling), who helps to Cal to rediscover his manhood. Gosling and Carell both were awesome in this movie.



Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, commonly known as Dr. Strangelove, is a 1964 black comedy film by Stanley Kubrick ! The story concerns an insane United States Air Force general (Sterling Hayden)  who orders a first strike nuclear attack on the Soviet Union. It follows the President of the United States, his advisors, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a Royal Air Force (RAF) officer as they try to recall the bombers to prevent a nuclear apocalypse. It separately follows the crew of one B-52 as they try to deliver their payload. Peter Sellers plays the roles of Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake, President Merkin Muffley and Dr. Strangelove. Its a classic !


Despicable Me (2010)
 Despicable Me is an animated comedy movie. Its a story of a criminal mastermind Gru (Steve Carell) uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, but he finds that their love is profoundly changing him for the better.


I love You, Man (2009)
  I love you, Man is an American comedy movie which concentrates on friendless Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd) goes on a series of man-dates to find a good friend who will be his Best Man for his wedding. After facing a lot of embarrassing situation one day he suddenly meets Sydney Fife (Jason Segel) and becomes best buddies. Their friendship puts a strain on his relationship with his fiancĂ©e  Zooey Rice (Rashida Jones).


The Breakfast Club (1985)
 The Breakfast Club is an American coming of age comedy-drama movie written and directed by John Hughes. Critically, it is considered to be one of the greatest high school films of all time, as well as one of Hughes' most memorable and recognizable works.The storyline follows five high school students, all different stereotypes, meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other, and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought.



Goon (2011)
 Goon is a comedy movie, features Seann William Scott as the goon named Doug Glatt who is a bouncer overcomes long odds to lead a team of under performing misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating the crap out of everything that stands in his way. Its really hilarious. It will not be a waste of time to watch this movie!




Here Comes the Boom (2012) 
Here Comes the Boom is a sports comedy movie about a high school biology teacher Scott Voss (Kevin James)who looks to become a successful mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent extra-curricular activities from being axed at his cash-strapped school.


Ice Age
 Ice Age is a American computer-animated comedy movie. It was released in 2002 It has four sequels Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) and Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012). Ice Age (2002) was set during the Ice Age, a sabertooth tiger, a sloth, and a wooly mammoth find a lost human infant, and they try to return him to his tribe. If you like animated movies then you will like it surely.



Moonrise Kingdom (2012)
 Moonrise Kingdom is a 2012 romantic comedy movie which tells the story
of two twelve year old kids who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness.


Pineapple Express (2008) 
 A process server Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) and his marijuana dealer wind up on the run from hitmen and a corrupt police officer after he witness his dealer's boss murder a competitor while trying to serve papers on him. You can find the usual Seth Rogen here. Its funny !


Shrek (2001)
 Shrek is an American computer animated fantasy comedy movie. Its the story of an ogre, in order to regain his swamp, travels along with an annoying donkey in order to bring a princess to a scheming lord, wishing himself King. It has three sequels - Shrek 2, Shrek the Third and Shrek Forever After.


Thank You for Smoking (2005)
Thank You for Smoking is an awesome comedy movie. Most of the dialogues of this movie are hilarious. The satirical comedy centered on Nick Naylor (Aaron Eckhart),a handsome smooth-talking tobacco lobbyist and the vice-president of a tobacco lobby called the "Academy of Tobacco Studies", which for 15 years has been "researching" the link between tobacco smoking and lung cancer. They claim that their research—funded primarily by tobacco companies—has found no definitive evidence of any linkage. Naylor's job consists mainly of reporting the questionable research of the "Academy" to the public and defending Big Tobacco on television programs by questioning opposing health claims and advocating personal choice. Its a must watch comedy movie !

Four weddings and a funeral (1994)
Four Weddings and a Funeral is a British romantic comedy film features Hugh Grant. The movie follows the adventures of a group of friends through the eyes of Charles (Hugh Grant), a debonair but faux pas-prone Englishman, who is smitten with Carrie, an American (Andie MacDowell), whom Charles repeatedly meets at weddings and at a funeral. This movie was an unexpected success, becoming the highest-grossing British film in cinema history at the time, with worldwide box office in excess of $245.7 million. Its really funny. You gotta try this.


Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008)
 Another hilarious comedy movie by Seth Rogen. Lifelong platonic friends Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) look to solve their respective cash-flow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the duo begin to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought. Watch it guys!


Megamind (2010)
 Megamind is an animated comedy movie. Its centered around the supervillain Megamind who finally defeats his nemesis, the superhero Metro Man. But without a hero, he loses all purpose and must find new meaning to his life.


Office Space is (1999)
 Office Space is an American comedy film satirizing work life in a typical 1990s software company. The company workers who hated their jobs and decided to rebel against their greedy boss.

Old School(2003)
 Three men are disenchanted with life and try to recapture their college days. Nice Comedy.



Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
Silver Linings Playbook is an American romantic comedy-drama film. The movie follows Pat Solitano (Bradley Cooper), a former teacher, moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife after a stint in a mental institution. Things get more challenging when Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence) , a mysterious girl with problems of her own.


Stranger than Fiction (2006)
Harold Crick (Will Ferrell), a nondescript IRS official whose regimented life is interrupted by a disembodied voice narrating events as they happen. Believing he is not mentally ill, Crick consults a literature professor (Hoffman) who suspects that Crick might be a character in a novel and who suggests that Crick analyze the narration to determine whether his story might be comedic or tragic.

Superbad (2007)
 Superbad is an American comedy film. The movie follows Two co-dependent high school seniors are forced to deal with separation anxiety after their plan to stage a booze-soaked party goes awry.


The Big Lebowski (1998)
 This is the story of a dude who likes to be called dude instead of his name Jeffrey Lebowski (Jeff Bridges). He is an unemployed Los Angeles slacker and avid bowler. After a case of mistaken identity, The Dude is introduced to a millionaire also named Jeffrey Lebowski. When the millionaire Lebowski's trophy wife is later kidnapped, he commissions The Dude to deliver the ransom to secure her release. The plan goes awry when The Dude's friend Walter Sobchak (John Goodman) schemes to keep the full ransom.



The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005)
 The 40-Year-Old Virgin is a 2005 American comedy about a middle-aged man's journey to finally have sex. Steve Carell acted really well. The movie is much funnier than i expected before watching it.


Wedding Crashers (2005)
 Wedding Crashers is an American comedy movie which follows John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn), a pair of committed womanizers who sneak into weddings to take advantage of the romantic tinge in the air, find themselves at odds with one another when John meets and falls for Claire Cleary (Rachel McAdams).


You've Got Mail (1998)
 You've Got Mail a beautiful romantic comedy movie which tells the story of two business rivals hate each other at the office but fall in love over the internet without knowing the real identify of each other. Don't miss the chemistry of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.


Zombieland (2009)
 Zombieland is an american zombie comedy film. The movie follows a shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, and a gun-toting tough guy trying to find the Last Twinkie and a pair of sisters trying to get to an amusement park join forces to travel across a zombie-filled America.
